Healing Spot Counseling Center, Inc. is a non-profit community counseling center that provided mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. While we serve the community at large, some of our practitioners specialize in providing services to military members and their families, first responders, and homeless populations. We believe that every person has their own unique story as life events have varying impacts on individuals. There is no cookie-cutter approach to treating trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, ADHD, etc., therefore our approach with each client is tailored to the client’s needs.
Our clinical supervision program pairs licensed and certified supervisors with therapists and social workers who are completing their required professional training. Whether you’re a graduate student intern or post-graduate associate, our experienced supervisors guide your development of essential clinical skills.
Under supervision, clinicians gain hands-on experience in:
Individual and group counseling
Crisis intervention
Psychological assessments
Client intake and evaluation
Resource coordination and referrals
Community outreach and consultation
Throughout the program, supervisees receive both individual and small-group supervision sessions to support their growth and ensure high-quality client care. This structured supervision fulfills the clinical hours and experience requirements needed for professional licensure.
