THE AGENCY: Zone 7 provides treated drinking water to four major water retailers serving around 260,000 residents and businesses. THE POSITION: Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of office and field sub-professional engineering duties; computer aided drafting (CAD) work; construction inspection tasks; establishes and maintains detailed and interrelated engineering and hydrological record-keeping systems.

SALARY: $106,766.40-$129,792.00/ Yearly
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Completion of sixty semester units of college level studies with emphasis in engineering, mathematics and/or science.
AND
Experience
The equivalent of two years of full-time experience in sub-professional engineering or water resources work.
OR
Experience The equivalent of three years of full-time increasingly responsible sub-professional engineering or water resources work.
LICENSE:
Possession of a valid California Driver’s license.

Zone 7 Water Agency supplies treated drinking water to retailers serving approximately 260,000 residents and businesses in Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and, through special agreement with the Dublin San Ramon Services District, the Dougherty Valley area of San Ramon. Zone 7 also supplies untreated irrigation water (mostly to vineyards) and provides flood protection to eastern Alameda County.
