The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District is a nationally recognized public health agency responsible for air quality management across the eight counties making up California's San Joaquin Valley region: San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, Fresno, Kings, Tulare and the Valley air basin portion of Kern County.
