THE POSITION: Zone 7 Water Treatment Plants employ a variety of treatment strategies and state-of-the-art technologies including upflow contact clarification, biological filtration, reverse osmosis processes, ozonation and chloramination. Under direct supervision, individuals learn and perform treatment plant, well field and distribution system operations. Water Plant Operator II’s are expected to gain experience and demonstrate proficiency which qualifies them to promote to the Water Plant Operator III. SALARY: $114,587.20 – $132,579.20/ Yearly
