THE AGENCY: Zone 7 provides treated drinking water to four major water retailers serving around 260,000 residents and businesses.
THE POSITION: This class independently performs skilled mechanical maintenance and repair work on a wide variety of pumps, motors, valves, compressors, piping systems and related water treatment and distribution equipment and facilities.
SALARY: $124,300.80–$130,457.60 Yearly

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: The equivalent of two years of full-time experience in skilled mechanical maintenance repair work in a water or wastewater treatment or industrial setting. Completion of an apprenticeship in a related field, such as machinist, electrician or electronics technician, may be substituted for not more than one year of the required experience. License: Possession of a valid California Driver’s license.
