The City of Redding is now accepting applications for the position of Parks Superintendent in the Parks Division. The Parks Division is seeking a leader with excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills, along with experience in landscape construction, maintenance, vegetation management, parks, and contract administration. We are searching for the right person to help us steward nearly 500 acres of park land, 30+ miles of trail, over 24,000 trees and more. The successful candidate will carry or be able to obtain several certifications as an arborist, pest control administrator, and in playground safety and have at least two years of supervisory experience.
