Job Description: Appointed at the discretion of the General Manager under direction of the Operations and Maintenance Manager, the Chief Plant Operator operates, repairs and maintains the District’s water and wastewater treatment facilities, including water treatment and distribution systems, wastewater treatment facilities, reads and interprets charts and meter readings for analyzing the efficiency of plant operations, maintains chemical inventory, and performs other related work as required. Compiles and submits monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for regulatory agencies.
