THE POSITION The Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and collaborative leader for its Director of Operations position. The Director of Operations plans, organizes, and directs the operation and maintenance of the EchoWater Resource Recovery Facility (EchoWater Facility), located near Elk Grove, California. This is an at-will, exempt executive management position.   The Department of Operations has around 400 staff who are responsible for maintaining and operating the EchoWater Facility. A variety of functions are required for successful operations, including engineering, operations and maintenance, capital programs, and the laboratory. The successful candidate will be a strong leader who is also committed to b
