Mesa Water District (Mesa Water) is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for a Senior Accounting Technician in our Financial Services Department. The Senior Accounting Technician will be responsible for processing Accounts Receivable, utility collections, assisting with Accounts Payable, and providing overall clerical accounting support to the Department.
Experience processing Accounts Receivable, specifically billing and collections.
Experience processing Accounts Payable.

Education: Associate degree in accounting or a related field. A bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
Experience: Four years of increasingly responsible clerical and technical accounting experience.
License: Valid class “C” California Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
Mesa Water District is a local government agency providing water to over 110,000 residents including homes, business and industries in Costa Mesa, parts of Newport Beach, and some unincorporated areas of Orange County including the John Wayne Airport.
