The City of Ventura is hiring! The City of Ventura Public Works Department has an immediate vacancy for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Fleet and Facilities Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor coordinates and supervises activities and a crew of five team members engaged in a variety of facility maintenance and repair work, including mechanical, plumbing and electrical maintenance for the Facilities Maintenance section. The Facilities Maintenance team is responsible for the maintenance and repair of 78 City buildings totaling 700,000 square feet and 37 park locations. This supervisor also administers outside contracts for building maintenance, janitorial and repair work.

Position Qualifications
A combination of education, training and experience equivalent to completion of a bachelor's degree in a related area and two years of facilities construction and maintenance experience,
OR an Associate's degree and four years of facilities construction and maintenance experience,
OR six years of facilities construction and maintenance experience.
One year lead or supervisory experience is required.
License: Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license is required.
Certificates: A valid Building Operator Level II (BOMA) certificate is desirable.

The City offers a compensation package that includes both a generous salary and excellent benefits!
Salary: $73,941.09 - $99,081.63 Annually DOQ
