The County Executive Office is seeking a Board Support Services Manager (Staff Services Manager) to provide high-level support to the Placer County Board of Supervisors. The position reports directly to the County Executive Officer. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Serve as first point of contact for Board of Supervisors (BOS) core support requests
Oversee BOS core support office coverage
Prepare commendation/proclamation requests
Conduct special multi-district projects or research
Draft board agenda items

Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible work experience managing programs and/or conducting detailed analysis requiring the preparation and submission of findings with recommendations.
Training: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public or business administration, political science, or a related field.
