Accounting Technician I/II/II
ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN I/II/III:  The successful applicant will perform a variety of specialized accounting and bookkeeping duties including: payroll processing- time sheet entry, taxes, contributions and deductions; initiate payments and reports to CalPERS; administer employee benefits; accept and process payments over the counter and through the mail; prepare bank deposits; accounts/payable; accounts/receivable; generate and maintain accounting reports; respond to customer complaints and inquiries; and general administrative support. This position will spend approximately 1/3 of the time working for the District Utilities Department at their Facility, with a concentration on data collection, report compilation, purchasing records reconciliation, and filing; and approximately 2/3
