The Legislative Analyst reports to the Senior legislative Representative.   Components of the position include:   ADVOCACY Provides support to all aspects relating to the association’s advocacy activities with the primary objective of empowering CSDA’s Legislative Representatives with the time, information, and resources to successfully influence public policy Assists in the tracking and monitoring of legislation Analyzes legislation for potential impacts on special districts and provides recommendations to the advocacy team Helps to ensure legislation is disseminated to, and reviewed by, interested parties in the development of a position for the association Researches policy issues and gather
