This is a Lead level position, which performs activities related to the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.  This position performs a full range of tasks and works under direction within a framework of established procedures. At this level, incumbents work under instructions from the Chief Plant Operator. Major discipline (Wastewater) - is the field of treatment which the employee is assigned to perform the majority of the time.  Minor discipline (Water) - is the field of treatment which the employee is assigned to perform the minority of the time.
