Duties: Under general supervision, as an individual or shift supervisor, operates and maintains an advanced wastewater treatment and reclamation facility in compliance with state regulatory agency requirements; Monitors and adjusts the treatment processes and performs a variety of skilled technical duties including laboratory analysis, facility maintenance, and process control decisions.

Minimum Qualifications Wastewater Treatment Plant Senior Operator IV: Experience as a grade IV wastewater treatment plant operator, ability to operate and maintain a full range of equipment commonly found in wastewater treatment plants; knowledge of methods of treatment processes used in a grade IV treatment plant. Possession of a Grade IV Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certificate issued by the CA Water Resources Control Board and the ability to obtain a Grade I laboratory technologist certificate from CWEA within 18 months. Possession of a valid California Class C Driver License with a satisfactory Driving Record.
