POSITION SUMMARY
The role of the clinical research intern is to support, facilitate and coordinate the recruitment and enrolment activities of the studies sponsored by Rockley Photonics in accordance with the approved protocols, applicable regulatory regulations, and guidelines. The candidate will serve as the coordinator for study subject schedules and appointments. The successful candidate would be an undergraduate enrolled in a relevant scientific program, e.g., biological or life science, strongly preferred who has interest in gaining clinical research experience. This is a 1 year, temporary part-time role.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Pre-screening potential study participants
- Scheduling study visits for multiple research studies
- Sending confirmation email, necessary documents and study supplies to subjects prior the study visit
- Collaborates with the clinical team to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in scheduling
- Provides subject education by explaining study preparations and instructions for the scheduled study visit
- Research chart preparation
- Data entry and verification
- Maintaining research records
EDUCATION & SKILLS
- Undergraduate enrolled in a biological , life science program or BME preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively with a team
- Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills are required
- Strong organizational skills required
