The City of Vacaville is accepting applications for the position of Park Ranger (PT) in the Parks & Recreation Department.  Currently, one (1) part-time vacancy exists. This recruitment will also serve to establish an eligibility list for future part-time vacancies that may occur over the next twelve (12) month period.    The Park Ranger acts as an ambassador of the Parks and Recreation Department; answers questions and complaints from the public; coordinates and/or assists with maintenance and repair tasks; oversees and monitors the public use of park and recreational facilities; patrols areas; and enforces rules, regulations, laws and ordinances governing park activities.  This is a non-peace officer class.
