About City of Calabasas
The City of Calabasas is a General Law city and operates under a Council-Manager form of government. The City Council consists of five members who are elected at-large and serve staggered four-year terms. The Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem are selected by the members of the City Council for a one-year term. The City Council appoints the City Manager and the City Attorney.
