Under the general direction of the District Manager, the Operations Manager (OM) is an at-will, exempt, confidential, managerial position responsible for the management of the Operations Department and its staff. The OM plans, organizes and directs the District’s Operations program, including building and fleet maintenance. In addition, the OM is an integral member of District management team that assists the District Manager in planning organizing, directing, and evaluating the District’s intra-agency programs (i.e., Operations, Laboratory, and Administration). This position performs advanced professional work which requires the interpretation of advance concepts, methods, procedures, and technologies related to mosquito and vector control.
