St. Margaret’s seeks to hire an engaging Science Intern with a background in Upper School Science courses. The Science Department is part of a highly functioning and highly achieving Upper School of 475 bright, dedicated students and 60 talented faculty members.
Prepare solutions, equipment, and demonstrations for laboratory experiments
Assist with the correction and grading of tests, quizzes, and lab reports
Prepare and maintain an ongoing periodic inventory of all science equipment
Serve as teaching assistant in lab classes
Bachelor’s degree required; science major preferred
Minimum one year of college chemistry
Basic knowledge of all areas of high school science including biology, chemistry and physics
Computer competency in Word and Excel
