The ideal candidate will be a strong and motivating leader who is capable of organizing employees in order to effectively address and accomplish the goals of the District. Candidates with strong interpersonal skills are sought. LARPD has been serving the needs of the Livermore community since it was established in 1947. LARPD serves 92,700 residents who live within the District’s boundaries. A Bachelor’s degree in recreation administration, business or public administration, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is highly desirable. Candidates must possess eight (8) years of relevant experience with at least five (5) years in a supervisory capacity. Any combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.
