Who We Are Looking For
The Executive Director of Human Resources will develop, guide and manage the Human Resources services, policies and programs for CalOptima. This includes recruitment, HRIS, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, employee and leadership development, HR regulatory compliance, employee communication, employee activities and events, and employee health and wellness. The Executive Director of HR will establish and maintain business partner relationships with the Executive Team, Legal Team and other department management. Through these partnerships, you will implement and drive a state-of-the-art working environment to ensure employee satisfaction and a culture based on a strong work ethic, integrity and customer satisfaction.
Experience & Education Requirements
Minimum five years of experience in a leadership role for an organization with at least 500 employees.
Experience in administering statutory and regulatory requirements.
Experience presenting to a Board of Directors and articulating short- and long-term goals and strategies.
California Public Agency experience required.
Ability to work closely and cohesively with the Legal Department.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Master’s degree from an accredited university is preferred.
