Reclamation District No. 1000 ( RD1000) is seeking an independent, motivated professional to serve as its Administrative Service Manager (ASM). Under direction of the General Manager, the ASM serves as a critical member of the District's management team in a small friendly environment (12 District employees). The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, problem solving, and computer/technology skills along with a general understanding of accounting principles. The ASM also serves as the District Secretary and Clerk of the Board of Trustees.
Duties and responsibilities include: serve as Board Secretary/Clerk posting notices and recording minutes; oversee District financial functions including payroll, payments, banking information, budget preparation and audit assistance; maintain District office files; coordinate with outside agencies (CalPERS, County, City, State and FEMA representatives); administer office operations including utilities, technology and computers and supplies; provide administrative assistance to the General Manager, the Board and the District in a variety of areas.
The District provides a competitive salary and benefit package including CalPERS retirement pension; 10 to 20 vacation days, 12 sick days, 14 paid holidays (5 floating) per year; CalPERS health benefits (District pays 75%); dental, vision and life insurance (District pays 100%). Current salary range $5389 to $7276 monthly.
