The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree in a related field, increasing public management experience with demonstrated organizational leadership, strategic thinking and community involvement. A combination of education and public agency experience, along with successful knowledge and abilities may also qualify candidates.
These will not be the only qualifications, but a demonstrated passion for public administration and good governance as pre-requisites are also important.
