Fiscal responsibilities include: A/R, A/P, G/L, payroll personnel benefit records, preparation of financial reports, multi-department budgets, economic analysis, maintenance of all financial records, investment accounts and related audits. This salaried management position attends bi-monthly district board meetings held in the evenings. The Finance Officer oversees all clerical staff including three direct reports. Strong public relations/customer service skills and the ability to work well as an administrative team member are required. Government accounting experience is preferred. We require proficiency in one major accounting software program. Knowledge of Word and Excel preferred.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm plus additional attendance at board and committee meetings.
